I was not born among rose fields and the romance of southern winds, but within the noise and rhythm of Moscow, where the air smells of river water, birch buds, gasoline, and electricity in the freezing cold.

No family legends about great noses of the past.

I first studied design to learn how to see form. Then perfumery, to learn how to give it scent.

My fragrances are an attempt to catch natural phenomena by the tail, extract their essence, and make them speak. A reminder that nature and true essence can still be stronger than any synthetic nightmare. An attempt to preserve what disappears with fog, rain, and light. What dissolves into water and earth.

And if one day, within one of my fragrances, you recognize something of your own, then for a brief moment, we both felt the same thing.
